I must say Chuck had me hooked from the time I met Franklin for the first time. As the oldest son of an alcoholic father I really resonated with Franklin's dealing with his stepdad and the bullies at school. I particularly enjoyed the thought Franklin put into payback for the jocks.This was a good read and with likable, and despicable, characters, it was hard to put down. I for one am looking forward to Franklin and Kathryn's sophomore year.

If you're over 15, you'll be taken back to high school from page 1. Memories of friends like Franklin, Kathryn, and of course, those JOCKs / Cheerleaders, will flood your mind and deepen your laughter and tears ! A gentle reminder that we never truly know another's life, and should not judge. Knowing the author personally, I must say, just like in the comic books, there must always be a SUPER Hero willing to SAVE the day and give you a bit of love and encouragement.
