Just finished reading Scott Marmorstien's new fiction, Pursuit with a satisfied final electrocnic flip of the page on my Kindle reader. This is the first in the Owen Hunter trilogy and I can't wait for the next two Books!Scott grabbed my imagination and interest and kept it throughout the varied characters and plot turns. In the style of Stephen King and Clive Barker, Scott's book is populated with believable evil and other worldly characters that exist with us here whether we realize it or not. His Heroes are human, funny, sometimes slow to catch on, and are very likable as they become aware of their own depths and abilities. We are with them every thrilling step of the way as they navigate this new world where the curtain of awareness is lifted between ordinary experience and the subtle realms that exist for those who have eyes to see it.
A really good read!

Pursuit was such a great novel! I really enjoyed reading it. Right off the bat Scott Marmorstein has the reader hooked. The subject is very intriguing. I can't wait to read the next two books!
Very interesting characters, unusual circumstances, and progressive intensity. A compelling story that has me looking forward to book two! Intriguing!

I have rarely read a book that has so quickly entangled me in the characters' lives and kept me so intrigued. I literally could not put it down from the moment I began reading it.
I'm a huge fan!
Because I'm a Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan, a friend recommended "Pursuit". My friend said it might start off a bit slowly for my taste. Then he said, "Keep going anyway. You're gonna love this story." I did keep going; and a few chapters in I was racing through the book. I found myself rooting for Owen Hunter. I found myself rooting for the 2 characters who were drawn to help Owen even though they didn't know why. The next book is is on my radar as a definite buy!
Scott's book, Pursuit, is an engaging entertaining combination of sci fi, metaphysics and mystery. Pure fun from start to finish. Reminds me of Steven Kings more metaphysical type novels (think "The Stand" and "The Dark Tower" series). Well worth reading. I am going to be one of the first to get the second book in the trilogy and can't wait to see what happens to Owen Hunter next!,
Never read quite this take on ESP. Unexpected "blessings", strange dreams, visions, and urging, lead a motley team of people who don't know each other on wild adventures toward an uncertain goal. It's a wild ride.
